How do I get Involved?

Ad 2 Phoenix is the NEXT big thing. Wait, we are already, so that just tells you, get involved!

We're dedicated to improving the knowledge, ability and professionalism of its members. Although enthusiastic attendance at events is the norm, members are encouraged to join one of the club's committees or better yet, become a Board member. There are many ways to get involved with Ad 2 Phoenix.

First, attend the next Ad 2 Phoenix event to meet current members and receive more information or download the membership package information here. For information on upcoming events, refer to our Events section, or become a friend of ours on Myspace, Facebook or follow us on Twitter.

Second, take it a step further and get involved in one of Ad 2 Phoenix's exciting committees. Decide on a committee you would like to be involved in and contact the corresponding Committee Chair from the Ad 2 Phoenix Board directory below. It's simple and easy to get your foot in the door with us. We like people.

We've got something for everyone, no matter what your specialty is. If you're smart, have a sense of humor and are committed to seeing our industry go places, you've come to the right place. So go ahead, take the NEXT step in membership and join a committee or the Board if a position is available. But you won't know until you contact us. Now's your chance to expand your horizons.

Education

This committee mainly works with students from local and regional colleges and universities interested in careers in advertising, marketing and communications. This committee also strives to educate the community and the club's members. Please contact Ad 2 Phoenix.

Fundraising

This committee's main purpose is to create exciting fundraising events to gain awareness and money for the club. The Ad 2 proceeds from this event benefit the non-profit organization selected by the club (the recipient of our Public Service campaign). With this new year brings new and diverse events that the local industry is highly encouraged to participate in. Please contact Ad 2 Phoenix.

Public Service

This committee serves as a "virtual agency" to produce a campaign for a local non-profit group selected by the committee. The Public Service committee interviews several non-profits agencies and selects a group to receive advertising, marketing and PR assistance from Ad 2, all of the media is typically donated by outside vendors and other various forms of media. This is a great opportunity for creatives, account service, brand planners, media and PR folks to get involved in a potentially award-winning campaign. Membership

Recruit new members, greet members at club gatherings, conduct membership-increasing campaigns, most of all, build your personal network of business contacts and associates. Please contact Ad 2 Phoenix.

Programs

The Programs Committee plans and executes exciting evening networking socials and extracurricular activities such as social gatherings and group trips to exciting locations, including Rocky Point. They provide Ad 2 Phoenix members the professional education, networking and social opportunities they need to get the most out of their membership. Please contact Ad 2 Phoenix.

Communications

The Communications Committee promotes Ad 2 Phoenix using PR, advertising and other media. And, most importantly, this committee manages the club's brand. Diversity

The Diversity Committee designs and plans events that aim to increase the cultural awareness of the membership such as programs on Hispanic or gay & lesbian marketing. Government Relations
